I've been less active on dA these past months. Poor neglected gallery! School has been keeping me busy, and I've gotten next to no painting or drawing done that wasn't school related. I'da been more on top of scanning my school drawings if I didn't detest mom's scanning software. It doesn't have any options for contrast balancing or anything, so I have to add the extra step of bringing it down to my computer and using photoshop to try and make the white paper look white again. And well... I'm not terribly excited about much of it. Assigned work often lacks the passion and inspiration that recreational drawings have. Or maybe it's just my personal connection with the work is weaker, I dunno.

  The other reason you've seen less painting from me... I got an xbox as an early Christmas present. I went out and stood in line on Black Friday and got that shizz. I had some quality time with Ezio Auditore, beating ACII and most of Brotherhood... and then well... Skyrim. <3

  I am attempting to paint my Dumner mage character from Skyrim at the moment. But she's fighting me, I'm on the second repaint of her face, and seriously reconsidering the ambitious desire to have her dual casting fireballs... Multiple light sources would be so nice though, dramatic... buut... fire. I should probably have chosen an easier lets-ease-back-into-painting project.

  I desire to paint Ezio in his manly glory. Well... I have this image in my head of him going to stab some poor sod in the FACE with his hidden dagger, the expression on the faces, motion blurs... askjdhlajfk. It will be lovely if I can ever get around to it! Or it could crash and burn horribly. We will see.

  I really do miss you guys, and appreciate the comments, faves, etc. I will work on replying (super late) to you and looking at all the new shiny stuff you've posted for my eyes to feast on :3
